I share with you this new game by Miguel, the author of Tetrarchia, which we love.
The Second Punic War ends in 201 BC with the surrender of Carthage and the total victory of Rome, an ambitious republic already setting its sights on the next conquest: Hispania. From the former Carthaginian territories along its Mediterranean coast, now renamed provinces Ulterior and Citerior, Rome commands its praetors to subjugate the entire peninsula. This seems like a straightforward task for the armies that have just vanquished the formidable Hannibal.
HISPANIA is a cooperative game where 1 to 3 players assume the roles of the praetors and consuls dispatched by Rome to Hispania over two centuries. Your objective is to subdue all the peoples of the peninsula before the millennium turns in order to annex Hispania into the burgeoning empire, following in the footsteps of the first emperor Caesar Augustus. The destiny of Hispania rests in your hands now!
