Anyone know a good, modern Stalingrad/Moscow/Fall Blau game?

I'd prefer
  • Hex map
  • Regiment/Battalion (if feasible) - perhaps it has to be Division?
  • Map no bigger than 35x55 inches
  • Modern - post 2010-ish
  • Larger than 1/2 inch counters
  • Medium complexity
  • Either solo or high solitaire suitability

I would say The Dark Valley, but are 1/2 inch counters.

You're looking for SCS games, sounds like

This one is the fighting near Smolensk as a part of the initial Barbarossa push
https://mmpgamers.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=11&products_id=338

Quote
Game Turn: 6 days
Hex: 7 miles/11.2 kilometers
Units: Regiment to Division
Solitaire Playability: High
Complexity Level: Medium
Players: 2 or more
Playing Time: 3-6 hours

Components:
• One v1.8 SCS Series rulebook
• One AfB specific rulebook
• two x full-color 18" x 22" maps
• 352 counters (5/8")

This one is close to what you wanted, but the bigger 2-map scenarios would be too big for the space you mentioned

This one gets the maps back under your size limits

A Victory Denied / Last Stand - Battle for Moscow both have 1/2" counters

GMT's Barbarossa: Army Group South is waaaaaay too big for the space you have

Cool. I don't have any Russian Front games - so hopefully these two will scratch the itch.
