The first-ever Armchair Dragoons Fall Assembly is being held at The Gamer's Armory in Cary, NC from 20-22 October 2023

We are planning on a full weekend of wargaming hosted by one of the best Friendly Local (War)Game Stores in the US, with a dedicated gaming and event area for our attendees, as well as giveaways, prizes, designer sessions, playtests, and probably a live broadcast or two.
We've got multiple tables for wargaming events, plus a large table for all-day monster wargaming across extended sessions.

Any idea on when seats or tickets will go live. I want to book a hotel but won't until I have a ticket for my wife and I for the event.

By the end of this week for sure. Sooner if I can get a couple of GM's locked down on their events so we're not just launching with a concept and a blank schedule.
There will still be plenty of room for GMs to add events, but we want to make sure there's some already there when we open badge sales.

you have no idea how hard it was to find a workable weekend for this one, and we *still* have to work around the State Fair!
(I hope this doesn't mean you're bailing out on us! :( )

Current Confirmed Game Sessions
- All-day Saturday game of It Never Snows, split into two 5-hour sessions. You don't need to play in both, but are welcome to if you'd like
- Triumph & Tragedy, with one session each day over the weekend
- Bayonets & Tomahawks, with one session each day over the weekend
- Littoral Commander, the USMC training-game-turned-hobby-game
- Brief Border Wars for some conflicts you've never heard of
- Gunfight Royale for a Wild West shootout

tomorrow once I double check the times
I also have someone locally that wants to get a GBACW game on the table but needs to make sure scheduling works out
So things are starting to fill up a bit
Now I got to see if we can get some of our local designers to show up 😎

Made it back home and already looking forward to the next one! Great weekend, the weather was awesome and the gaming was better. The Gamer's Armory was a great host for the first Armchair Dragoons Fall Assembly. Hope to see more fellow Dragoons at the next one. 8)

Meanwhile I'm still waiting for my shipment from Gamer's Armory...USPS is taking its sweet time. Was supposed to be delivered yesterday, now it's just "arriving late," ha. That, and my Age of Comics Collector's Edition was supposed to get here yesterday also, but nah, FedEx SmartPost is pretty much US Mail also, so...yeah, still waitin'. :go-on:
