Found a game group and went out last night to play for the first time in many years. Played Airlines: Europe and  Tzolk'in. Nothing too heavy but it was great to get out and actually play something even if Euro games.

Did you know anyone in the gaming group or was it a total 'blind date'?

Tzolk’in is an interesting game.

Perhaps you or one of the group has Root and can bring it to a game night. It’s frankly one of the best attempts to make war gaming accessible to a wider market audience in a long while. It seems all cute until the forest rodents rise up in bloody insurrection.

The 'Bagration' scenario from 'Victory Roads' is proving to be a very interesting game indeed.

I can just imagine Bart when he's retired, sitting in his rocker with a straw hat on, and a counter clipper, shouting, 'ma, y'all bring me another box of them thur unclipped counters now, y'hear?'

The bad part about being retired is you never get a day off. Nor a vacation. Think about it.

Any Day is a Good Day That Doesn't Involve Too Much Work or Too Little Gaming
