Very nice.

More tournaments should think in terms of commemorative tumblers.

Going to see a movie with my dad this afternoon (he wanted to do that for Father's Day instead of eating out).  When I get back, am thinking to resume my Syracuse campaign in Rome II Total War: Rise of the Republic.  I'm in the mood for some Classical-period historical gaming at the moment.

Getting ready to play ASL this afternoon.  Four candidate scenarios chosen.

Back when video store were still around they had to keep titles like that in the back room.

There are helpless townies who are monster food - does that count?  Will it make Mirth happy?

No more so than any of the Old Gods.

Time for BP2, "Quatre Bras".

75% of the whole bloody thing.

Who wants a brigade?

That looks amazing!  And outside.  If it rains will the troops drown?

What mini ratio are you using?

"Black Powder 2", like its predecessor, doesn't mess about in figure-to-man ratios.  It takes the Featherstone approach of "that's a battalion", "that's a big battalion", and "that's a tiny battalion".  It's much the same thing "Shako" does.

The closest it comes is when dealing with very small and very large units where it acknowledges that something ought to be done to demonstrate a particular unit isn't "standard".

So, my infantry is here based 24 to the battalion, six bases, four on each, covering a scale 240mm frontage -- bog standard for BP.  Cavalry is two to a base, six bases for a 300mm frontage.  There's a few larger regiments of cavalry out there -- the Dutch were huge -- and one of the Highland battalions is judged "small".
