Those are my buddy's, but I'm pretty sure they are GHQ 1/2400 scale models. They are absolutely gorgeous, but also quite expensive. Those cruisers I was running are 12 bucks each. Capital ships are $20 each.

The cost of the GHQ stuff is the main reason I went with the Topside Minis printed flats for my own ships.

Is GQ3 your 'go to' set of rules for WW2 naval combat or do you have another favorite?

It is my go to set. I have the core rules and the campaign supplements. They also have WWI rules called Fleet Action Imminent that we use quite a bit. I also own the intewar what-if rules they published (Sudden Storm) and a set for Age of Sail (Post Captain). We haven't done much with those yet.

ODGW publishes GQ3 and the rest.

A return to our Gloomhaven campaign this weekend after a bit of an absence. I'm also going to start a game of Space Empires 4x. I'm also thinking about playing around with Fighting Sail in Tabletop Simulator. That Trafalgar thread has piqued my interest considerably.

Think I'm doing either, Scythe, Descent or Gloomhaven with my boys on Sunday. Also maybe this is the weekend I finally open Holland 44!

I've just started a campaign game of 'Victory Roads' in Vassal.

Some Nightfighter Ace to take pics and finish my review.

After that, who knows. I have a metric ton of LnL stuff to cover and some of it is quite juicy.

Long weekend up here, Canadian Turkey Day!
So that means I get to spend all weekend putting gazebo and patio stuff away, close up the pool, tear out the veg garden, wash Miata for its winter sleep etc.
There will be Nappy Toys on Saturday night though.

Well, get on with it then; BC, we are really hooked by the 'Nightfighter Ace' AAR.

Oh I appreciate it much. I saw 1200 views and was  :o

I have it all on my work laptop so I'll likely do another mission. I also need to transition all the images which I haven't done yet.

Probably no gaming for me this weekend.  I have the entire week off starting today (Friday) and all next week.  I've got chores and errands stacked up, a bike ride or two (the weather is spectacular now), and hopefully a trip to Gettysburg.  In between all that, I'll finish the solo ASL scenario I've been playing.

I’ve spent half my life’s earning on wargames, women, and drink. The rest I wasted.
