I had a VASL game set up this afternoon with a guy who wanted me to help him learn ASL Starter Kit, which I don't mind doing.  About an hour before we were supposed to start, he contacted me and told me that he had decided that ASL was just not the game for him, and broke off the engagement.

So I took a nap instead.

I’ve spent half my life’s earning on wargames, women, and drink. The rest I wasted.

We've actually finished the main campaign and are trying to level up our characters a bit more before tackling the Forgotten Circles expansion.

I'm tempted, because I still want to get Gloomhaven to the table. I think it would make an epic AAR, but it would take bloody forever to document it. That expansion is pretty cheap.

I've been tempted of late to go to my TOAW 4 folders and start one of those truly MONSTER campaigns that last 400+ turns with like 3000 units or whatever. Just for the hell of it. But, reason will probably get the better of me and I'll wimp-out.  :worried:

That’d be the dream Bob - my work schedule been what it is I’d really need turn based file swapping shenanigans and I think that’s entirely out of fashion - there’s no way right now I could be plugged in at the same time as most uk people
