Hopefully on Saturday 4th July we'll be continuing with our TTS game of NLB. I can't help feeling that we should be playing a War of Independence game......

Meanwhile, I'm going to have another look at 'Dorking - The German Conquest of Britain 1875' and also Worthingstons 'Shiloh' from the ACW Brigade series.

Isn't there a Command & Colors Tricorne?

The TTS mod by Lazyboy from which I've stolen nearly all my stuff for C&C:N was originally built for the AWI set.

And now I have C&C: Tricorne on the way. The wife is actually looking forward to trying this one out.
And speaking of weekend gaming with the wife, it looks like 18 Chesapeake will be on the table. It's one of the 18xx games, or "MarkShot games" as I call them.  ;D

Tricorne is a beautiful set and shames GMT on component quality.

GMT components are generally quite good once the counters have been rounded.

Does your 'clipper' round Blocks? Does Barth approve?

Gonna take another crack at playing Paths of Glory.  I’ve never managed to play past 1916 before we end up quitting due to time constraints.

Am currently playing campaigns in both Medieval Total War (XL mod) and Rome II (DEI mod).  I also have games going in both Interstellar Space: Genesis (huzzah for the new update!) and Birth of the Federation (UM5 mod).

I almost put this on my table but went with Zeppelin Raider by Compass instead.

A quiet Saturday.  :o  So I'll be working a little on my long-neglected DC: Sealion Campaign against those insanely tough Brits with their funny helmets and pretty airplanes that love to kill all my troops. Have a great weekend AC Dragoons everywhere.
