My first trip to Scotland it must have rained or been overcast just about every day. Sometimes not for long, but each day for sure. They said that was their 'winter weather' and it never snowed there anymore. Then on my fifth day there, woke up to snow on the ground outside the hotel. Pretty awesome.

That must've been when it was Mating Season. I hope to make it over to Britannia one day, snow or rain. Just as long as it's not during a Hobknob storm.

Hexham is about 30 miles north of us. Its the County Town of Northumberland and a really nice place. We know Slaley Hall as a few years ago, we had friends who had their wedding and reception there. Its a nice place.

I always find it strange that people think its always raining here.

Says the man that trudged me around Newcastle in a continuous rain.

I actually don't really like games.

Yes, it was a bit damp that day :-)

Mind you, if you remember, it had stopped by the time we got you to the White Swan pub in Heddon-on-the-Wall.

And it was Easter Friday - rain is traditional on that day.

How could you tell it stopped? We were in the pub.

When you're in the pub, who cares?

And here's the Win-- Decisive Campaigns WtP: Operation Sealion. We managed to grab Croydon by massing all our arty for the big assault and attacking from all sides, then beat the Brits to Newbury and held onto Southampton to grab enough VP's for the win. Just it time too because the RN blockade had our supply down to where my units Integrity was only 50-60 % and some of our infantry could only move a single hex pre turn. Another couple of turns and my army would've become marooned in southern England not able to move or attack. YIKES!  :o  So this weekend it'll be something new and... less stressing to my brain, it needs the rest.

Most likely it will be Command and Colors Tricorne this weekend. The counters are all stickered and ready to go. At 309 blocks that's a grand total of 618 stickers applied!  :o
