With those bowls, do you have guests eat your game pieces by mistake sometimes? (non gamer comment).
That's funny, but it hasn't happened - yet.
When I was in HS, we played a lot of backgammon. Those games were usually played with a drink in one hand. As the night progressed, it would become more likely for someone to drop the dice in the drink (instead of the dice cup), or roll the drink across the game board (instead of the dice), or to try to drink the dice. I'm surprised we never choked on the dice.
