Savage Worlds is great fun. Clint and Jodi Black were just here Wednesday. We talked a little Savage Worlds among other things.  8)

Next time you see them, say hi for me.

I've been trying to work out a deal with Jodi for a while you use one of their demo tables in our gaming area at origins

I've just picked up Door Kickers 2. Superb wee game, short and sweet and brutal if when you make the wrong decisions.

Actually, I did this time. They are going to be at MACE.  8)

Almost bought it on more than one occasion - there’s guy on YT who does the whole map on one single plan

Yeah...there's challenges. Doing it with one plan...no pauses...best times etc

Is a decent wee game. Very moreish and partly because it plays fast

You can rename the soldiers and equip them obviously. Also they gain experience when going on missions like marksmanship, assault shooting, field skills. I don't recall changing these so I think they're done automatically based on what happened in the missions

There's also a random map generator that seems awesome

Played several games of Dominion with the wife and have Memoir 44 ready to play with the kids tonight or tomorrow.

So on deck this weekend, it's definitely some Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes (with the new 3.0 update), along with Troy: Total War (now that it's out on Steam).  Perhaps a bit of Stellaris as well, but we'll see.

Still going through World at War '85.

The first couple of scenarios were pretty boring - Scenario 3 ramps it up a bit and it does become much more enjoyable.

First few scenarios are basically training/tutorials meant show the basics.
