Title: Scharnhorst Mini-Campaign

I wanted to pull this one out from the thread where it's hidden.

I very much want to learn Scharnhorst, the campaign system for "Blucher", especially as there's an 1809 campaign purpose built for it.

To that end, I asked if there were any two worthy volunteers.  My hope is to run it as a "Wednesday Night Warfare" in the near future with the campaign and the battle resulting perhaps taking up two sessions?

Zeke (Griff) stepped up and asked for a Russian army that I've built to his specifications.

Mike, you still up to do Prussians and can you play on a Wednesday or two?

I'll now next week.  I start a new class on Monday, and there'll be one night a week that they do a webex session.  I just don't know which night it will be yet.

Ron -- Should this get bigger, I'd want you to play anyway,

Want to build and post a 300 point army like Zeke did?  Can't hurt and, as we all know, don't cost extra.

Just giving this thread a gentle prodding with my bayonet.  Definitely still interested in doing this anytime in the near future if you guys are.

To the commanders:

I've got your armies built.

I have built a LOVELY Scharnhorst table that I'm quite pleased with.

You must now organize the 300 point armies you sent me into COLUMNS.

You may have no more than four, but you may have as few as ONE provided:

1.  Each column must have no fewer than one unit,.
2.  Each column must have no more than 10 units.
3.  Remember to leave some of your cavalry to the reconnaissance role, although those fellows won't necessarily be available to you in the crush of battle.

Send your columns to me at thegasconATyahooDOTcom, please.
