Sigh. I now have SEVEN games on P500 order. As long as they don't all hit at the same time, I should be good. Considering they're all probably a year or more away from deployment, who knows. My luck they'll all drop at the same time.

- Mr. President
- Beneath the Med
- The Hunters (3rd Printing)
- The Hunted: Twilight of the U-Boats, 1943-45
- Atlantic Chase
- Absolute War

Those last two I just added today. Though in my defense I had about ten tabs open pointed at other P500 games, so I pared it down significantly.

It's REALLY easy to do this when you don't have to actually pay up front. And knowing they'll send a warning message before they charge to give me a heads-up in case I want to change my mind - nice.

Well, we'll see. I admit I wouldn't sign up for all of these if I knew my CC would be charged immediately. The buffer they offer of reaching out before charging is a nice lifeline, just in case.

I might need to sell games to pay for new ones, though.  It's like, supply-side economical or something.

I've never really been satisfied with P-500s. They charge early and you always seem to end up waiting longer than expected. And the savings never seems to be enough to justify the frustration.

That's food for thought. I can always go in and cancel an order.

The only two I really would like are, Mr. President and Stalingrad '42. The others I can live without. I'm especially taken in by Mr. President, since it's solo and I think would make a most excellent narrative story for an AAR.

I think the low cost compared to the list price is what drives me to 'oh what the heck, add it to the list.' But you may be right, it might not be worth it if they want to charge me three months before they ship it.

It's rare that I can't find a game through a third-party vendor that doesn't offer a discount that comes in close to the P-500 price. And if I can get it on Amazon, I can avoid the shipping cost.

Lord knows I love GMT games, but I rarely order direct from GMT these days.
