Title: HMS Endurance found
Post by: judgedredd on March 17, 2022, 05:08:32 PM
This is kind of old news - but nothing here on it - so....

It's in amazing shape considering it's 100 years old!

I remember reading the story about this expedition. Absolutely the most amazing feat of endurance, mental and physical strength - and he didn't lose a single person

Ah...well, I'd suggest it's more historical than scientific  :bitenails: :liar:

In any event, if you ever get to watch the "mini series" Shackleton with Kevin Brannagh, you should. It's excellent

Aye, it is an excellent mini series. And if you ever see Shackleton Blended Malt Scotch, it's also excellent (for a cheap...inexpensive?...whiskey).  8)

See, if he had been drinking single malt, all would have been well.
