I've never been big on mobile games, but I've been keeping half an eye on this one for a while now.  I'll admit this is one of the very few that has tempted me (though I've not -- quite -- succumbed). 

Game is currently $2.99 the first week of its release.  There's also a free, ad-supported version (second link):

I would be sorely tempted, but the rennaissance-anime artwork is off-putting to me

^  Same.  It's the main reason why I haven't actually grabbed it (other than it being a mobile game).
