Since the Dragoons is now hosting the Foundation's update system (yay), why not note 1979 has sold out here--and that we are working on a reprint to be released later this summer.

If you don't already have the game, the 2nd edition is available for preorder on the Foundation website currently.

If you don't know the game--well, you should!!

It's about Iranian politics from a domestic perspective rather than as just a Cold War sideshow.  Game mechanics wise, it is a card-driven game, but there are no surprises since you will draft your cards--so you know everything you are capable of...and everything your opponent will be able to do for the next turn.

The new printing of 1979 is expected to arrive on January 10, 2024--at which point preorders will ship immediately.

so, it's on the same boat with the LC reprints?
