This is a fun game, by the way.  I recently got back into it, and have been having a blast (even if it's coming back to me how much I still suck at playing ;D ).  If you were ever in the mood for a light, fast-paced version of Twilight Imperium that you can play online with friends, or just by yourself with the AI,, then this is definitely one you want to check out.

Apparently it stands for "eXpress" -- presumably since the game is intended to be fast-paced and played in only about an hour.

Lots of references to twilight imperium in the reviews

It looks great, one of the big pros in the reviews and blurb is it can be all over in 1-2 hours - I’m used to games taking me that long just to set up the first turn and it maybe a little shallow for me - if I’m going to take the time to learn a new game I want to be in it for the long run - still a watcher though

Yeah, with a game time of 1-2 hours it’s really aimed at the MP market. Could be a fun night with the right mix of people online.
