Title: The Joy of Table Battles

I was finally able to get a physical copy of Table Battles. I was very impressed by the game in general. It really is a bit of genius. I was also quite surprised by just how good the game was as a solo title.

I've heard lots of good thing about, and have been quite tempted to give it a try, but its a bit down on the 'want' list.

It's great fun and easy to play while giving you lots to think about. Doug and I played some and there are "flavour" rules for the different scenarios that actually do give flavour to the battles being fought.
Looking at getting the PnP version, just need to find some appropriate sticks to colour.
You'd like it Bob. You and the Missus would have good fun with it.

Does anyone sell appropriate sticks for it? I have seen bags of mixed tokens but nothing with just long sticks.

Although you could probably use Catan road tokens in a pinch

I was think balsa wood from a hobby store. Stuff used for R/C planes and such.
