I envy those who enjoy painting. I never could enjoy it. I'm too much of a perfectionist to not paint things to a level beyond what the game needs, and too impatient to paint an entire army that way. I always felt like the painting was getting between me and the game. That drove me to 2mm...which I've proceeded to over paint and therefore never finish...
Excellent = I'll be interested to hear about that in due course. So, you could come back with a few additions to the collection..........

Still working on my Cruel Seas stuff but I've gotten to the point where I'll just slap paint on, do a bit of shading and weathering and call it good enough for the table.

They don’t care. They just want to play with toys.
I care though. It's odd. I think because I spend most of my time looking at the models up close through magnifying glasses that I worry over minor mistakes. I also tend to use very muted colour palettes and shades that are subtle. When the models are out on the table and viewed from 2 feet away, they just look like a uniform blob.
Oh aye - A Happy 4th of July America!
