^  Yeah, me too.  I suspect this might turn out to be the remaster I didn't know i needed.

Never played the original - though I did hear it was one of the better games.

The original KOTOR had a fantastic story line. It's just as good today but that interface, and the graphics, they don't hold up too well. A remake is a great idea, though I wonder if it'll be a complete remake, sticking to the original story, or if they're doing something new.
