Depends on where you are. European swallows are probably more appealing to you to help the coconuts migrate as you'd get them faster than African swallows. For us in the States, it's the same whether it's European or African swallows.

Sigh. Let me try to get this thread back on track. Here's what's on my table right now (headed to the 'fridge next):

Nice.

That Hinge of Fate issue - I think that's the one with my Luftwaffe Field Divisions article.  :bigthumb:

If I remember right.

It's very cool that you have an article in it. I bought it on a lark this weekend. Was checking out a new game shop in the area and was surprised to see it on the rack.

We played a quick 2-player matchup of Sails of Glory this afternoon.  2 ships vs 2.  Americans vs. Brits on the Great Lakes during the War of 1812.  Probably the strangest game of Sails I've yet to play.  I played as the Royal Navy.  I split my force in two in the hopes of enveloping the lead Yank ship and pounding her into matchsticks with broadsides on both flanks.  It didn't pan out that way.  There were only 3 broadsides fired in the entire game and the rest devolved into close range musketry and boarding actions.

Yankee ships.  Almost zero hull damage yet both crews are gone.

The Brits aren't in much better shape.  The Leopard struck after losing the last of her crew but the Polyphemus won the day.

Sails of Glory always looks good in the table but I traded my ships and Sythe for the entire C&C Napoleonic set.

I’m not sure why but just didn’t enjoy it as much as Wings of Glory and even that I really only enjoyed the WW1 plane battles.
