Cthulhu Wars

I tried out a 5-player game of Cthulhu Wars at the FLGS last evening. It’s a simple game but enjoyable. Really liked the asymmetrical powers of each of the factions. I played as Hastur and was way back in last place when we had to call it quits at closing time. Even though I was losing, I was still having fun and felt like I had a chance to come back. The minis are ridiculously over the top!

The minis look very cool.

I love this game. I'm nowhere near all in, because there is A LOT of extra crap that you can have, but it's my 'okay, this is my mounds of stupid plastic Kickstarter that I'll keep buying factions for' game.

Yeah, it definitely seems like a money sink. My friend has the base game, the 6-8 player maps, the Tcho-Tcho and The Ancients factions, and the High Priests. Damned Tcho-tcho were bloody annoying!
