I recall meeting the creator of that animation. He was at one of the trade shows I worked for Matrix back in the mid-2000s, in the Matrix booth, selling DVDs of that stuff. I remember he gave me one but don't recall what happened to it - I haven't seen the DVD in ages and didn't think once about this until now, LOL.

I have it on good authority that The Foxx and Wily E. Coyote were related.

I can remember having 1/48 scale kit of one, years ago.

They have one displayed at the USMC museum.  I saw it when I visited last Fall.  Strange looking thing, and pretty small.

I’ve spent half my life’s earning on wargames, women, and drink. The rest I wasted.

Some fellows who were in Hue during Tet said that Ontos was very useful.
It's small size worked well in the confined spaces, and the recoilless rifles worked well.
Think a big problem was snipers.

Yes, I remember reading stuff like that. The fact that a crewman needed to be exposed in order to reload. I guess the sensible action was to withdraw to cover in order to reload.

IIRC, there was some kind of canister or beehive round made available, almost as an afterthought, for the 106 RR. It turned out to be quite popular in the end.
