Only thing I have on preorder (that I remember, anyway) is 'Devil Boats' from Compass Games.

Yeah, I'm also waiting on that one.

Well, Justin, I don't feel nearly as cardboard harlotish then. :)

Lessee...I have, besides the three above:

- C&C Samurai Battles
- Plains Indian Wars
- The Weimar Republic
- SpaceCorp: Ventures
- Mr. President

Only eight...not too bad.  :2funny:

'Course, there's six others on that list that I had to cancel.

I am blessed that I have no one else but myself to spend my budget on.

I have about 300 boardgames, now, having bought about 40 in the past year. I lurk on BGG and am an avid fan of GMT, Compass Games, and a few others.

Once my son goes back to school and frees up my spare room (he normally would not be living with me) I will be doing video reviews and play-throughs of most of my solitaire-friendly games.

I'm not even going to explain my miniature collection, at this time. :)

Right there with you, though I probably had about 500 or so games a few years ago and gave away a ton I'd had for reviews plus sold a bunch I'd bought, all before I moved. I counted 124 recently just in my house but I have 13 moving boxes' worth of games in a climate control storage unit, so that's probably another 40-50 or so.  :-[

But, the last few months have been some supreme progress in getting games to the table I've not yet had a chance to play. Currently working on Star Trek Frontiers.

I never got into minis, unless X-Wing Minis counts. Though I sold off my entire collection of that as I never played it. I find minis very cool but don't have the time or patience to paint them.

Let me know how Star Trek Frontiers goes. I've had that one on the shelf for quite a while but have yet to play it. It's supposed to be a really good game.

Very good, but difficult to get into. The rules are dense (reminds me of old Avalon Hill manuals). There's a few how to play vids on BGG that look good though.

It's my understanding this game is Mage Knight but with a Star Trek wrapper. Never played MK.

Yeah, that's what's holding me up. The rules are a bit much. I really want to play it at some point though.

Latest episode of our podcast discusses Mage Knight, with me chiming in on Star Trek: Frontiers (episode 67).

In a nutshell, the manuals suck, but the theme is awesome if you're a ST fan (IMO, anyway). I never played MK.

Both of my P500's at GMT have charged.  1918/1919 Storm in the West and Next War: Vietnam

Here at ACD, we all pee the same color.

I almost went in for that Next War title but had to draw the line somewhere.

That line may move eventually, however.  :D

A Time for Trumpets just charged.

I have all of the other Next War games, but I didn't P500 Vietnam.  I will probably regret it once the Facebook groups are full of everyone receiving their copy...

Yeah, I'm also waiting on that one.

So, I pre-ordered this a while back on the Compass Games site. Today I received an email saying that a Kickstarter just launched for it.
Well, is my pre-order still good or do I need to back this on Kickstarter? WFT?!?

No idea. I thought that game was about close to go to the printer, or had? I guess not. :(

Yesterday I canceled my Tru'ong Bot Pack P500. Apparently just in the nick of time as they started charging shortly thereafter for it. :)

I think they talked about it on one of their town halls.  If you have time tonight, they have another town hall, you could ask them then.
