Not to nitpick, but Bob Work was DepSecDef under Obama, and Work hasn't been in office for a while. Esper is the current SecDef.

Andy Card was the White House Chief of Staff under Bush 43, but he'd previously been Secretary of Transportation and retained the honorific of "Mr Secretary" even while he was CofS
