Aha!

So, how many points per side in your BA game, and how does that translate in terms of number of figures / vehicles?

1000pts each

I take 4 squads of 6 fallschirmjager

2 medium howitzers

Truck mounted flakvierling

Flammhetzer

And 2 lieutenants because I split the points over 2 platoons I need a lieutenant for each

But that’s 300 points on vehicles - you could squeeze in 3 more squads of men but you’d have trouble against AFVs at longer range than 12’ which is where the faust stops

FJs are considered elite and are 15 points a man, plus 3 for SMGs, 5 for assault rifles and another extra 3 for fausts whereas your standard Heer chap would be 9 points

Interesting. The two FJ regiments that did fight in the Scheldt campaign were likely the best German troops present; they were from 6th FJ Regiment and the HG.

Looks great!  :2thumbs:

How big is the map?

The map is only 11" x 25.5". I did think about if or not I could 'blow it up' but I'm not sure how. Also, that would mean going to maybe 6 or more segments, which could be a bit messy trying to line up.

If you want a larger version, and it's a single image file, tell me where I can get it/send it to me and I'll adjust it in Photoshop for you.

You'd need to go to a professional printer I think, but can't imagine it would be too expensive to print a single mapsheet in one contiguous format.

You can get the map graphic out of the VASSAL module. Change the .vmod extension to .zip, unzup it, look for the map in the "images" folder.

OK I can go find that. Thanks, Barth.

Bob, PM me your email address - not sure if I can add attachments here in the messages section. Also, let me know what dimensions you want for it, size-wise. :)

Its not that big, Doug. The original is only 11" x 25.5", so that x 1.5 is no bigger than a 'standard' map, innit  ;)
