Cool.

Are all counter going to be rounded now that I've spent £50 on clippers?  :tickedoff:

It should be noted that David Heath recently posted an updated rulebook at BGG:

New Edition of the Pearl Harbor to the Philippines Rules Available v4.0

Yeah, I think that's the version I did. The game was very confusing as it was before I started with the manual, and I did my best to interpret things and edit them accordingly. I see from the thread I missed a few things so I'll be reaching out to David to see what his timeline is.

I hope it's at least a minor improvement over the previous iterations.

FYI, this is the direct link to the rules on LnL (doesn't require a login to DL which BGG does)

Boy, oh, boy are the Japanese counters bright orange. I'm getting old. I find gaudy colors off putting, but maybe they look better in person.

I own it and I didn't think they were too bad.

Well I will admit they do not appear as bad as some of the stuff Compass tries to pass off...

That did come to mind. I know how you love some of their color choices.

The Japanese counters are quite red. The only thing about them I didn't like was the inclusion of Kanji script, which left less room that could have been used to make the ship names larger.

I'm just saying some counter designers need to invest in a color wheel.
