I'll keep it simple. The rules I currently own and have read or played recently.

Dungeons & Dragons BXCMI, 1e, 2e, 3e, 4e, 5e.
Basic Fantasy
Iron Falcon
Castles and Crusaders
Dungeon Crawl Classics
FFG's Star Wars all three rulebooks
Numenera
The Strange

I have no doubt forgot some but it happens. I also gave my set of Pathfinder books to a friend's kids.

I'm just afraid that if I start compiling my PDF list, someone will end up filing a missing person's report on me next Tuesday.  Plus, the bulk of my PDF list is likely to be orange/red and almost no blue, unless it's a PDF copy of something I've also got physical copies of

I feel quite restrained in my RPG collection after having compared my to Brant and Mike lists.

Good lord, I feel like a midget compared to you guys.

I can claim familiarity with perhaps 5-6 RPG systems, no more.  And that's counting both AD&D and 3.0/3.5 D&D as two separate systems.

In my case I have read a lot of them. I think that's why I have so many. I love to read through them. Now as far as actually playing them...

I've read way more of mine than not - love the underlying info.  My biggest issue was always finding other people willing to play a new system just for the heck of it, instead of always falling back on the same systems over and over.

Same for me. Enjoy reading them, but playing? Not enough time.

Since I posted the original list, I've now added

13th Age
Forbidden Lands
2 different DCC starter books (w/ the starter game rules inside)
Apocalypse World

and I probably have another 15-20 nested in magazines that I didn't even think to count last time.

oh, and the T2K kickstarter on the way

No Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teenage_Mutant_Ninja_Turtles_%26_Other_Strangeness)?

Nope, was never a fan of the Palladium system.  I've got one of the castle books, but that's it.

That was a system, wasn't it? It was horrible, too.

On the other hand, 2'6" telepathic sparrow with ninja skillz and the ability to make 30mph hopping on the ground...

Cool. I have regressed and only read/play AD&D 1e at the table. I am currently reading 2e because I might start up a fantasy grounds campaign and 2e is a supported version.

2e might be my favorite of that lineage. I'm still a die-hard BECMI guy, but if we have to play a D&D, you could play 2e for a long time with the official material and never run out of stuff to work with before you even have to invent any of your own content

I haven't played an RPG pen-and-paper style in ages, though I have picked up several solo systems via DriveThruRPG over the years - mostly T&T stuff but then there's a few others.
