You can make a good board game from a PC game and vice-versa, but the translation must acknowledged what makes its inspiration special, especially if you've got forms like these that are so radically different.

My interest in the PC port of "Gloomhaven" is nigh zero.

Playing Tiller's Squad Battles makes me realize that much of what draws us to WWII tactical games is actually a nigh-masochistic love of overhead.

And I am fairly confident I would prefer "Wolfpack" to "U-Boot".

Oh, and no game can be thought good in the modern era unless it has AWL TEH PEECEZ and costs at least $200 (+shipping).

303 Squadron

solo/co-op Battle of Britain

Not sure it's going to make its funding but it sure looks like a spiffy game idea

I saw that and am sorely tempted to back it, but I just don't have the bandwidth financially. Plus waiting until 2020? Eh.

November 2020, smart ass.

Though I doubt it would fund even if I put in a pledge. They have four days to get 20 grand.

It could do with a few more aircraft types, but maybe they'll be later content?

Not that I''m interested in buying it.
