I need to look at this series of games more. I played a couple of turns at a con several years ago and quite enjoyed it.

Do it!  I have Roads to Gettysburg II and Stonewall Jackson's Way II enroute. From everything I've read, seen and experienced playing, these games just feel right for the scale and time period. Plus I think the maps are some of my favorite from any game I own.

I got to see two guys play the full campaign to its completion back in May at a little get together, it went the full distance and had a pretty historical outcome. The confederate player ended up assaulting Franklin if I remember correctly due to circumstances, with the same result lol. Looking forward to trying out this campaign myself in the near future, looks to be a pretty exciting game.
