You will notice I placed this in Gunpowder, what as it is MAH HOUSE and it is my favorite period.
So, I have set up the choices below. I have most of the pieces for these ready to go so can work on a relatively tight turn around.
For what it's worth, I had a blast playing "What a Tanker!" and think there really might be something to offering regular, streamed, MP games.
And, this way, I don't force everybody playing to buy JTS games (which, of course, wouldn't be the very worst thing in the world!).

At some point ... please do a Sword and the Flame anything ... I got those rules and am (ok ... have been since I have had them since I think the late 80's) too lazy to have read them. I do have like about 5 or 6 boxes of semi-painted ESCI Zulus (some Mahdists, as well as the corresponding British colonial forces) ... so I'd be interested in seeing that one in action.

So I, finally, after a lot of poking, think I have the Age fo Sail kit I wanted straight.
Anybody still up to have a go at 1900 CST?
I knew Vance was out, but was wondering if anyone else is around?

can't tonight. Kids are here and I space on this happening :-[

BOO.
There.
Y'all just been BOO'd.

Steve -- I know you said ANYTHING, but do you have any preferences?
I'm almost done with my Mahdist board, but can really build anything courtesy of the great work of others.
This is absolutely my next project. Forgot how much I love these rules. Larry autographed my anniversary set not long before his passing. I want to do a good one in his memory.

If you can't play, at least watch!

Wait, don't these games always end up with Cyrano playing panzerde? (http://aarcentral.com/emoti/whistle.gif)

Would love, love, love to have more.
Not-so-secretly, Doug and I have admired the game club that lurks behind “Little Wars TV”. Seems to be a great group of guys that lives close enough to each other that they can regularly get together and play each other’s games. We’re not quite so fortunate, but TTS at least allows something close?
All are most welcome.

Was fun to watch. Missed the end. How'd it go?

It really came down to the wire, in that both of us were one ship away from a morale-caused loss. I had a ship with three damage markers; but I was also in a position to possibly cause enough damage in one round to sink one of Jim's ships - though that was definitely a long shot. Since it was after 11PM my time I tried the discipline check on may damaged ship, which failed. That caused the ship to strike her colors, yielding a morale loss for the Swedes.
It's a good system. I enjoyed it enough that I bought the rules myself last night.

Should have stayed home a played with you lot as my Senators were crap in last night's game... not really surprising though... :P
What's up next? :D

You know what would be cool? A Russo-Japanese War or WWI naval game. Maybe something from "Fatal Choices?"
