Title: Question: Marine Corps War College and NW series...
Post by: blackndecker on October 13, 2020, 09:59:17 PM
I've been following the threat in War on the Rocks and elsewhere about how the Marine Corps War College is using various titles from the GMT Next War series. I don't have any contacts down that way -- and thus cannot bother them directly -- but has anyone heard/seen/know if the facilitators/instructors have made any modifications to the design or rules? Given the designer has participated in at least one event...and the effort is being openly talked about...I'm assuming the thinking related to the design/rules wouldn't be sensitive...

Appreciate any thoughts,

Thanks,

Jim Lacey is the instructor. I can dig up a point of contact but he shouldn't be hard to find on the Way College website

Thanks Gents. I've sent him an email...hopefully it won't go straight to spam!

I'd seen someone just recently post this article https://mca-marines.org/wp-content/uploads/An-Invigorated-Approach-to-Wargaming.pdf  I wish I'd sought out a wargaming degree 20+ years ago. I just really like the field now that I've been reading up on it. - Peter Robbins
