Well, I broke a couple of year period of no board game purchases. Ares finally republished Battle of Five Armies and now I have a copy in-bound. Of course, I did not shell out the $$$ for a collectors edition but the plain old regular release version. I am pretty stoked about getting a copy. It's been on my to buy list for several years now. I have War of the Ring which is a great game but the allure of the battle focus and shorter gameplay of BoFA was too much to resist.

So, I shouldn't tell you that Cyrano is setting up a TTS table to do a Battle of 5 Armies.  Don't remember which rule set he's planning on using.

Blucher? Never heard of it.

If I can figure out how to work TTS, I might be interested in joining.

The reprint also came with a mini expansion for War of the Ring which was totally unexpected and very cool.

I will be spending quality time this evening sleeving the cards. I cannot explain the therapeutic benefits of card sleeving. It's right up there with counter clipping.

I've been eyeing that for a while now.  I've got War of the Ring also by Ares and it's good so I assume Battle of Five Armies is good too.
