Looks like they're dumping more stock.
Tide of Iron: Days of the Fox is a deal for $20.

you gotta wonder how much longer FFG continue to exist as its own imprint at this point.

Shipping on the Rommel game is almost as much as the game itself! Is it worth $37?

I have pretty much all of the Tide of Iron stuff (Next Wave), as well as the expansions. $20 is a great deal for any of the expansions, but if shipping is $17, I'd take a hard look at it on BGG and YouTube to see if it's worth that. I bought my copy via Prime. And no, I've not played it (big surprise).

Unless you’re a completionist or a huge fan of the system, I’d say no. (I paid $75 for mine...🤪 ). Of the 4 boxed expansions, Days of the Fox is the most limited in terms of what it offers. It does have some cool units that aren’t available in any of the other sets though.

Hmmm.
Is Days of the Fox playable w/out the base game?

I am pretty sure it is not

It would seem that my choice to buy or not to buy is made. :(

As I preach around the office, only people do things. Not office automation, not clever slogans, and certainly not good intentions.
If FFG doesn't have bodies to throw at games -- which it would seem it does not -- Brant, you have your answer.
Another indicator to me that this latest attempt to drive heavier consims into the mass market has crashed and burned. Wouldn't surprise me if they have another go, but there is so very much Hanseatic wheat to sell...

No. Days of the Fox is an expansion; you need the base game to play it. You can have either the first edition ToI, or the newer edition, Next Wave.
