Armchair Dragoons Forums

News:

  • The ACDC returns in 2025!  17-19 January 2025 we'll gather online for a variety of games and chats all weekend long
  • Our recent back-end update has changed the way the site auto-generates our URLs & many of our old links are broken in other articles, or here on the forum.  If you are seeing a "post not found" message on the front page, remove the categories in the web address.
For example, if you are looking for
    armchairdragoons.com/events/cons/o24-day1/
    then remove "events/cons/"
and the resulting URL is armchairdragoons.com/o24-day1/
  • Connections Online 2025 will be held 7-12 April, 2025. This virtual professional conference will be co-hosted by Armchair Dragoons and is aimed at the overlap between hobby wargamers and the NatSec / Defense / serious games communities.

Hoi`uns, so HERE now, is some 'locale' where we could 'postulate' about many/any consideration? I made a 'Blog' entry lately Alamo "should have" and why hasn't anyone bothered upon doing this in 'Game(s)' forms? That can even 'involve' some situations for using the same components/counters within varying/different occasions.

Yet another "What IFs..." for considerations were: 'Defense of Fort Independence', where they might have attempted utilizing some 'Multi-Guns-(Muskets/Rifles?)' contraption deployed as 'Main Gate/Entry-Port Defense'. I have a video recording for some RARE-(well, now-a-days) "The History Channel" T V show, hosted by David Carridine where that were being featured, with even a 'virtual visualization' of it getting 'used'/'fired'. Later on, his brother Keith would wind up 'Hosting' this same show.
