I backed DCC RPG: Fred Saberhagen's Empire of the East by Goodman Games and today I received my PDF preview copy! I backed this for two reasons. One, I love Fred Saberhagen's work. I have not read Empire of the East (I do own it) but one of my favorite series is his Dracula series.  Two, I love DCC/MCC. That's not to say there aren't things I don't like about DCC/MCC (I'm looking at you AI 'Gods') but both are good RPGs.
Can't wait to read this!

I'll be interested in hearing your impressions. The only thing I've ever read from Saberhagen were a bunch of the "Swords" books. I have the original trilogy in one combined volume in my library and I've read a smattering of the "lost" books over the years. I enjoyed the original trilogy quite a lot, even if book two was a pretty derivative dungeon crawl. but I've never read the berserker series or anything else from him

I think I've only ever read his Berserker stuff.
