Can't go wrong with Racier. Looks like a simpler version of Paths of Glory.
Kind of. No cards, but there are some event counters. The various fronts make it easy to play multiplayer. Can easily finish in one sitting. Analysis paralysis sets in if you've got a player that over-obsesses over the possibility of dummy units / counterintel in front of him, but otherwise pretty streamlined.
You kind of need to house-rule the Russians leaving the fight tho, or it can be a little to easy for them to bail on the war, even if they're doing really well.
