Does this have a scenario depicting LZ X-Ray?

I think so yes. I'm not home so can't check.

I was trying to find info on the scenarios, but I could only find the names...no details. There were a couple that sounded like they might be - but I wasn't sure.

Just glanced at my copy. It looks like Undeniable Courage is.

I just looked at that one and it is...but very small scale.

I was thinking Silver Bayonet might be the one to "replay" the combat - but that's at too big a scale (at battalion level I think)....anyway the Ia Drang scenario in that game is a few hexes - hardly the details "maneuver" options I was hoping for. Personally I think Company level would be too big for what I am wanting to replay.

I was hoping for something with a lot more tactical options available, including possible reinforcements depending on whether the LZ was held or not...I think I need to look for a game that's got something at platoon level.

Any ideas?

I see '65 might be a fit. Can't see anything else really (modern!)

There's a print-on-demand version, too.  You don't *have* to get the PDF.

I don't want to sound like I'm throwing barriers up - but postage from LnL (and not them in general - just the US to UK) is prohibitive (and I'm putting that kindly).

I will try and find it in the UK - but I don't rate my chances.

I totally get it, and b/c it's print-on-demand I think you'll have a hard time getting a UK-friendly copy of it based on cost.

BUT....  you did ask, and you did get an answer  :hehe:

Absolutely and thank you very much. It is exactly what I was looking for. Just the wrong side of the world - totally appreciate the effort  :bigthumb:

I will keep print on demand in mind if I can't get to recreate it in another game - but I think I'll give 65:Squad Level Combat in the Jungles a go.

be aware that this is heavily card-driven.  If you don't like flipping multiple cards from a shared deck every turn, then this will drive you nuts.
