Can I ask.....why so cheap?

Because there's going to be a shit ton of DLC, battle packs for every game already printed, Battle Generator, etc.
Just for example, Heroes of Normandy will have at least 2, probably 3 or 4 based on the number of existing scenarios for the board game, main battle packs and then battle packs for each of the expansions. All at about $9.99 each. It'll add up quick.

I sure they want to get you hooked on the system so you buy the board games as well….

It really is the easiest way to learn to play the system.

So far it looks like they did a fantastic job on replicating the system on the PC.  I should probably have automatic allotments taken out of my account for the DLC.

I've played MP during testing and it works fine. And I can teach you the game at the same time. We'd use Steam chat while playing.

Rules are boardgame 5.0.

The rules have updated to 5.0, like bbmike says, but nothing has really changed that much. This digital version follows the board game rules very closely.

So far, only the scenarios in the base game can be played multiplayer, so yer fine.
