Guy in the vid might want to shower before putting himself on camera.

Rules are posted at BGG:

I'll have to read the rules but its probably a buy for me. I'm a sucker for WW3 air combat. Being solitaire only is another plus since I don't have a gaming group to play with.

New pic of contents.

Dammit that does look good
-
The rule book is only 8 pages long but there looks like lots of game in there. Lots of player driven decisions on where to attack and how to make up yer strike packages.
-
I believe I have sold every TT solitaire-only game I own.
Life's far too short to ...
Never mind.
-
I don't think I've ever purchased a solitaire only TT game. If I want solo gaming, I have a computer and a couple hundred games.
-
Poor lost souls. Solo gaming can be so much fun. :bigthumb:

What's "TT solitaire only"?

Also (I hate the UK when it comes to boardgaming) - anyone know where to get this in the UK?

Hiya JD - good to see you here.

Howdy Judge!

Tabletop Solitaire-Only, i.e., a game purpose-built to be solitaire as opposed to a game with a solitaire option.
-
Also (I hate the UK when it comes to boardgaming) - anyone know where to get this in the UK?
Second Chance Games has started carrying our products, and we did send them some copies of NAC, though I'm not sure if they're still in stock.
-
Yes, SCG has got quite a few of your games - I did check :)
-
Thank you all. Bob directed me.
TT = table top :peace: Gotcha thanks
-
JD, the place was empty without you ;)

It was the kilt and claymore that took up all the space :-)

Oh yes, sorry - Nope but SCG does keep a good selection of Tom's games. Its worth sending Andy at SCG an email to ask him if he's going to get the game in the future - if so, he'll reserve a copy for you.

Having fun with this game so far. It's simple to play once you get the sequence down. Not many rules. But lots of choices on how you're going to prosecute the war and meet the various mission requests that come up.
It's very important early on to gain air superiority early on to allow your meager forces to spread out and spread the hurt. This is done through the advancement along the two tracks OCA(Offensive Counter Air) and DEAD (Destroy Enemy Air Defense).
There are no dice in the game. A deck of cards act as a randomizer for all the combat and events. And it's not a fair deck! It's slightly stacked against you so you have to manage that threat as well. This can be done by cycling through the deck at different rates and some missions let you remove cards. The deck isn't large so bad stuff, and good, comes around again quickly.

My copy of this just arrived, from a BGG trade. I'd been watching a lot of vids on it and really like how simple yet deep it feels, Lots of decisions to make.
I figure this is old hat with some of youse by now, but me, I'm quite happy at having found someone that had it listed for trade on BGG, and actually still had it on hand.
I know it's pretty cheap from Hollandspiele but I'm trying to avoid buying anything for a while. I've just discovered this BGG trade process and I'm 2-for-2 with good trades so far.
