My allergies have landed hard today, with a sinus headache approaching a migraine. So odds are good I won't be available to play tonight -- I'm fighting off some nausea just being here to type this!
So if Barth or anyone else wants to take over the British position -- which as Cyrano says isn't bad at all aside from Funn himself -- I will have no objections.
The balances can be quickly seen by checking the end of last week's video. The British are now down behind the French on morale (which is the effective score of the game). And Funn will be hard-pressed to regain and put to any good use his crew under direct command, which was once the largest in the game -- assuming he can even keep them from routing off the board! (Which I assume is a game mechanic.)
On the other hand, the British have whittled down a significant number of the French, and all the remaining British units are well-planted in defensive territory, with no casualties or shock at all. So while the French are (probably) about to outnumber us, and the balance has arguably tipped in their favor, the British still have good chances to kick the French out of the town after all!
