Title: How to Say French Names from the Napoleonic Wars
Post by: Tolstoi on January 03, 2022, 10:25:20 PM
The folks over at Command Post Games have put up two videos providing proper pronunciation for French names and unit types. I knew I was pronouncing many of the names incorrectly and now I know just how poorly I was saying them. Now you too can hear how Bourcier, Rivaud and Nansoulty are truly pronounced.

If I had realized there would be more videos, with names from other nationalities and their forces, I would have changed the name of this thread to be more generic than "French Names". Oh well! :)
