That one page concept is very similar to an idea I've been rattling around with for a little bit, including some Twitter threads this past weekend looking at basic character stats that could be used for either a light RPG or a quest style board game built off of the same rules and mechanics

Of course, It could be one page, printed both sides on A1 size and in extremely small font.

..just sayin'

Necrothreading here.
I played OnePageRules Grimdark skirmish not too long ago and OnePageRules Warfleets just a few days ago. I like Grimdark skirmish OK (skirmish rules are a bit crowded and there are others I like better), but Warfleets shows real promise. It played well and there is a new version coming soon that says it will address a few kinks in the system. It is now a key part of a gaming movement I hope to grow called MAGNET which I'll talk about in another thread.

Been running across One Page Rules quite a bit lately. Apparently, they got started as alternatives to Warhammer 40k and the other Games Workshop games. On the other hand, I think one of them is a simplified version of Arty Conliffe's CrossFire. (I can't check at the moment because work laptop and filtering.  :tickedoff:)
