What game have you played that required lots of dice?

I seem to remember that Warhammer 40K often required more dice than we had available - I had a very big shooty Ork mob that rolled a stupid amount of D6's. I think it was something like 20 figures and they had 2 bolt guns each.

For board games, Brian Trains excellent 'Scheldt' game often has me searching around for a few more random number generator cubes.

I played Endurance from Hollandspiele recently and the game arrived with 12 d6 in it. I ended up having to find some more to add to those at one point in the game!

Brief Border Wars ships with 2.

At Origins this year, we had a few battles with each side rolling >15 dice

I went and bought a Chessex brick of smaller dice to keep in the box so I'd always have enough for convention games.

Does no one remember Jim's Saturday Night Fights games of Lasalle 2, with fountains of north of 60 dice per side to determine the (relatively minor?) effect of skirmishing?

I seem to recall 100+ dice at one point...

there's a smaller dice fountain here.  I think this one is only 60 dice
