Anyone besides me pick this up yet? I wasn't gonna, but the $2.99 DLC convinced me to toss it in my Steam cart. For me, nostalgia doesn't translate well in PC games unless you're talking a total overhaul like PanzerCorps, but eh......for the price of a latte I'll give old times sake a try.

If you haven't already, take a look at Deity Empires on Steam. It scratches that MoM itch for me (at least until I see what Slitherine does).

I can't be the only person who saw "1994" in the same sentence with "25 years ago" and died just a little bit inside, right?

I'm surprised there was a piece of you still alive.

Being able to Google shit better than your clients is a legit career skill.

I picked up Deity Empires when it first came out and we were all excited about it. I played it awhile but found the A.I. not ready for prime time. I may go back and revisit it. I ended up playing MoM for about half an hour before the pixel vomit colors did me in   ::)

Somewhere, somehow, I woke up in the wrong timeline. I'm pretty sure this isn't even my dimension.

I'd forgotten how unforgiving MoM is when it comes to starting locales and combat at first. I had a Gargoyle den near me and forgot I couldn't fight flying opponents using only ground troops (oops). Plus spiders in a Nature node that froze my entire army and ate them alive. Fun times.
