I've talked myself down from the brink of buying Fields of Fire 2 more times than I can count.  ;D

I have The Hunters and The Hunted, and FoF 1. You're a brave man going for 2. I was set to learn 1 when the whole Solosaurus thing came up and pretty much set my board gaming schedule for me, so that one was right out of my learning queue.

Yeah. I've heard about the rules but I just decided to take the punt anyway.

I think it's a good choice. Everything I've read talks about what a beast the rules are, but also how incredibly fun and satisfying the game ends up being. They make it sound like it's well worth the learning effort, and there's tons of videos out there too that help.

Yeah I watched some videos. The players certainly seemed slightly confused on occasion but they were all gripped by the detail
