We lose another piece of history, two fatalities I think so far.

Oh man, that's a shame. I wonder if that's the same 'Wings of Freedom' B-17 my kids and I saw and crawled through many moons ago.
-
That is bad news. Bad enough losing an historic aircraft, tragic losing people as well.

They used to fly a b17 and b24 around together, landing at a lot of small airports. I took my son Eric when he was 3 or 4 and they came to Plymouth.. A friend asked me recently to go there or Norwood. I don't know if that was scheduled before or after this flight. You could pay to fly between stops, so there were others on board. Medivac choppers were seen leaving.

Just read about this story before coming on here. Very sad. My thoughts & prayers to the families of those dead & injured.
-
My co-worker flew on one of it's repositioning flights years ago.
-
Just awful. Deepest sympathies to the victims. Some of them may have been folks on a 'warbird ride'.
-
^Oh yes, that's true. How very sad.
-
At least 7 dead.
RIP to all involved.
-
Seven?? Damn. :(

Yes, that's sad. :(

Just so sad. :(
I've flown out of Bradley Airport many times and been a regular visitor to the New England Air Museum on the other side of the runways. I can't imagine how this must be affecting the extended airport community there.
