Title: January 18, 2020 -- Field of Glory 2 -- The Battle of Chalons -- LIVE Multi-play
Post by: Cyrano on January 18, 2020, 02:30:46 PM
I will say it for the far-too-many-th time.

FoG2 is one of the best wargames of this generation and Slitherine hobbled it like Kathy Bates did to Jimmy Caan with that stupid, recondite PBEM++.

Velker and I had a blast and the viewership was delightfully high!

No inherent aversion thereunto.

Do you have the TTS DLC?

I do, but that's "not a wargame"

To be sure, it isn't.  As I always say, though, doesn't make it a bad game...

Not sure I'll be home

As for Scythe, I personally don't think it's a bad thing to have a non pure wargame in the mix. Change things up and introduce people to something different.

As I say, no principled objection to wargame-adjacent Ameritrashers, but I doubt Scythe needs much help out there...
