Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning was a fun game. To an extent. I found I got bored with it much like Dungeon Siege I, II, and III, and Torchlight I and II, and other games like this.

I had it on the PS3 and enjoyed it until I got bored.  I was doing all sorts of side quests and lost the thread of what I was supposed to be working on. It looked really nice though.

I only ever played the free demo. It felt (and looked) kind of like single-player WoW to me. Which wasn't a bad thing.

I did buy the entire thing, with all of the DLC during some sale but have never managed to play it yet.

I actually don't really like games.

It's fun at first, but the main slog I experienced was the quite literal thousands upon thousands of armor and weapon combos you could try. I got tired of constantly comparing looted items with what I had on hand.

That's one of the "single-player WoW" aspects I didn't think I would care for.
