With our many absences and a promise -- a promise I say -- from Mirth to join, let us do something special.
I want to have a go with LazyBoy's terrific voxel figures and terrain for the brigade-level "Altar of Freedom".
If more than Doug and Mirth join we can pick one of his larger scenarios, but his Shiloh setup is very lovely.
It's also encouraged me to get back into reading about the ACW which I realized I'd not done in a LONG time.
And it turns out I miscalculated. We are good to go at 1900!!! (CDT)

:bigthumb: I don't think either of us screwed up the British side too badly. HMS Victory has been especially impressive, taking on the Nuestra Señora de la Santísima Trinidad like a brave little RN ship should.

Sounds like it may make sense to delay a week on the finish until more of the original cast are available? I'm happy to fight myself, but I'm also happy to give a spin to an SPI game Jim vs. Doug, or another Blucher session if it makes more sense.

It's been mentioned elsewhere, but I am a fan of "Altar of Freedom".
It's got the best command-and-control mechanism of any of these games I've played while retaining what I've always liked about the DBx system.
Between this and Lazyboy's maps, not only will Doug and I finish Shiloh, but I am eager to do a multi-player Antietam, Gettysburg, or Chancellorsville -- all currently-available scenario.
Now if they'd only do a Napoleonic version we'd have something.
